Things for Free and Novelties for Your Bike

The ads at the right come from Fantastic Four No. 9, December 1962. The bicycle themed novelties range in price from an expensive $1.98 Headlight and directional system, to the cheap, $.39 bike motor sound. Every boy already knew how to get this "realistic" sound effect with a baseball card and clothespin.

The comic book ad above offers lists for sale that revealed how to get free merchandise and "proven" money-making ideas.
